Module 2

The goal for Module 2 is to discover new ways to contextualize and present this data and the ideas it represents. We get to use Mapbox and explore digital spaces in 3D.

Activity 1

Zoomed out to take a look at the map's earth before scrolling to find Oakville Started with just playing around with the base colours first, changing the roads, the land, and the water colours to create synergy/contrast with one another Adjusted the colours of the previous test Adjusted the colours of the previous test Inserted photo from workshop 1, started playing around with the colours here for the map and tried to zoom into the college Adjusted the colours of the previous test, changed the greenspace to a different colour for higher contrast Adjusted the previous test Completely flipped the colour options here, a much nicer to look at map in my opinion. The lighter colours do better Adjusted the previous test Adjusted the previous test Inserted photo 2 from workshop 1, thought it was nice as is with the automated styles it chose Adjusted the previous test now it has a much higher contrast Adjusted the previous test, this one is my favourite so far, the colours are nice to look at, they work well together and maintain visual interest Same colours, zoomed out Same colours, zoomed out and adjusted to show other parts of the map Same colours, zoomed out and adjusted to show other parts of the map I loved the colours in this photo so I decided to keep adjusting and came up with this iteration which I thought was a nice change from the last one Same colours, zoomed out and adjusted to show other parts of the map Same colours, zoomed out and adjusted to show other parts of the map Same colours, zoomed out and adjusted to show other parts of the map Inserted photo 3 from workshop 1, I did not like the colours it automatically chose off of it Tried to adjust and fix the last iteration to chooser nicer options for the roads and land Adjusted this one again and changed the roads colour Adjusted again, this photo had minimal choices for me to create styles I liked Adjuted a last time, I sort of liked this one mainly due to the zoom out

Spatial Workshop 1

Washrooms Hallway in the J-Wing. Has mens womens and accesibility washroom. Also has some classes in this hallway as well as a water fountain. One wall is painted Purple. Lights are hanging above, semi narrow hallway. Top of the main staircase of J wing, outlooking onto the main entrance/lobby area. There is the bulletin board, a vending machine, and plenty of seats. There is an arch and it is a very open area leading out into a hallway with more classes. Entrance into the K Wing from the J Wing. A little corner tucked away, there are many rooms and it feels like a liminal space, no people nothing. Signs pointing towards Sheridan's Generator. A bench to sit on. Hallway is curved.
